Solved with air leak fix.

Post by GS1100Norway »

I had the same problem with my bike in the beginning, and the real problem was air leak/"false" air in the inlet tubes.
I suggest that you should check for air leaks.
When the engine gets warm and the warm-up are shut of the engine gets more sensitive to air leaks. TRY IT !!

Hiya,

Spent this weekend removing pipework and inspecting all rubber hoses plus all associated gaskets. No leaks found....

Despair beginning to set in now....

Only thing I can suggest is an electrical component braking down when hot?

Can you warm the car up, pull the coolant plug off and fit a resistor with a value equal to the 50c region, would tell you if it`s a tuning problem or maybe a wiring/sensor fault somewhere?
