Barometer correction?

Post by simonbos »

I took my car for a trip this weekend and had some problems with the Ve map. On Friday the max map reading, (engine off) was 95.5 instead of the normal 97. I assume this was just due to the ambient air pressure (or lack of it). Unfortunately since since a lot of change takes place between map 94 and 97 on my car this had the effect of moving the operation down into an area that was too lean. I thought that MSII would correct for the air pressure reading at startup? I was able to re-scale the table to a max map of 96 and then it was ok until the next day when the pressure went up again :|
Thanks,
Simon

i do believe that if you don't have 2 map sensors you cannot get realtime baro correction, i believe that on startup it gets current Baro pressure and stores it in flash , the only way i know of doing realtime correction is by DIYautotune's Map daddy conversion, add's a 3 bar sensor to your MS and then you can setup the correction in MT

I think?
