Multiple injectors on CBR600 RR5 bodies

Post by blown_imp »

Hi there

I just got these throttle bodies for my twin charged hillman imp project -

Image

As you can see it runs two sets of injectors one for lower RPM and the other joins in at higher RPM on the CBR, this is so that the open time is larger for better control at lower RPM's.

Now i dont really want the seperate control over each set of injectors, however to get the capacity for my engine i will have to run both sets.

Can i run both sets on my engine, with four running off of one circuit and four off the other?
How would i wire them up, parallel or series?

Thanks in advance

James Hill

MS-II and i think MSnS-E (its not on the car yet!)

I have a similar question about that. Can I tune each cylinder individually? Or is that something thats done through the software?

Blown-imp... Why not just get a larger set of injectors. i just talked to a guy on ebay that is willing to sell anywheres from 72lb - 150lb bosch style injectors for $60 each. Brand new! That's a great deal, if you look around you'll find what you need.

I think the idea is that the second set kick in at high rpm with high gas flow fireing in to the end of the trumpets. think you would get fuel puddling at low rpm.

The dual table code will fire the first set up to a set rpm and then join in with the second set when required.

Any idea of the flow rate of both sets of injectors? I know bike injectors can be up to twice the flow rate of car injectors for the same horsepower due to the high rev limit of bikes
