The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview.While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.

[AutoTune]
#if MS_I
table = veTableMap ; Should be the map3d_id of a TableEditor entry.
allowAutoTune = on ; Displays the check box on the specified tuning dialog.
corrector = egoCorrection ; Variable used for correction algorithm.
; Tuning block parameters
; Global limits on tuning, outside the box and nothing happens.
xLimits = 1500, 4000 ; RPM
yLimits = 60, 90 ; MAP
zLimits = 10, 200 ; VE
; Vertex tolerance parameters
; How close you must be to a vertex before tuning takes place.
xRadius = 200 ; RPM
yRadius = 7 ; MAP
; Controller parameters
initialStartupInterval = 1.0 ; Seconds before first adjustment
updateInterval = 1.0 ; Seconds between each consecutive adjustment.
proportionalGain = 0.5 ; Proportion of (100-corrector) to use for adjustment.
lumpiness = 5 ; Maximum percent adjustment above or below neighboring VE points.
What would I change the setting to for use with a boosted engine and how could I use autotune upto 7000 rpm??
I think that is pretty easy to understand apart from 1 tiny part In order to use auto-tune for WOT tuning, you must be running a wide band lambda system (sensor and controller), with an appropriate EGO correction algorithm that allows you to set specific AFR targets (i.e., MSnS-Extra or MS-II). If one of these requirements is missing, then you must rely on seat-of-the-pants and experience.
.
What is this ??
with an appropriate EGO correction algorithm that allows you to set specific AFR targets
Would this be it??
Under "Exhaust Gas Settings"
EGO Sensor Type : Wideband
EGO Switch Point : 2.352
Ignition Events pe Step : 4
Controller Step Size : 5
Controller Authority :75
Active Above Coolant Temp : 71*C
Active Above RPM : 1300
You're in man! welcome to the club
Minimum requirements are pentium class, windows 95 and higher. I think the slowest I've heared of with autotune is 266MHz 32MB ram running win95, worked fine. lowest powered lappy running Megatune I've hered of is 66MHz, 16MB ram.
