[/img]Paul TeglerHey guys - I need to add more bins vertically because my
motor is making 170 KPa boost and I only have it up to
150 KPa right now.
What do you guys suggest?

It is only a partially working table. I am still working on setting up the bins and all before I go crazy tuning it. Changing the increments of KPa will require me to retune the car, no?Fastest95PGT wrote:As ptegler above said, just increase the difference between row kpa values. For example, you could run 20, 35, 50, 70, 85, 100, 115, 130, 145, 160, 175, 190.
Also, is that a running VE table? It's strange that at your highest boost setting your VE dives from ~5-6k.. also your VE values are pretty low in general for being at around 7psi (150kpa).
You should save a copy of your current VE (which you already have posted here) and then adjust the Y axis values. Then try and place values which fall in the range of what they were in your table before into the appropriate rows. If a row is now in between two others, then split the difference.Jon k wrote:It is only a partially working table. I am still working on setting up the bins and all before I go crazy tuning it. The table switching is interesting but I think I want to stick to one table, so I will try to realign the tables.Fastest95PGT wrote:You should save a copy of your current VE (which you already have posted here) and then adjust the Y axis values. Retuning requirement should be minimal if you pay attention when merging your table.
Also, if you built your MS yourself (or are comfortable with modifying it), you could build the table switching ground activated circuit and then build an output (such as output 1 or 2) to cause you to table switch when at the desired MAP value. This would essentially give you a 12x24 fuel table. . . though I would suggest having them overlap by approx 10 kpa for latency purposes.
Ok james, good idea. Also, my idle is ~950 - 1000... it sits right on the border of two bins... around 36 kpa idling at about 950 - 1000... so it bounces 14.5.....12......14.7.....12.... its frustrating - I tried to move the bin larger but it still seems pretty unstable afr wise. I think my plugs are really fouled - could tha tbe it?jsmcortina wrote:I would suggest deleting the 30 and 40kpa rows and shuffle everything else down, then add 170kpa and (say) 190kpa rows at the top. Set the 190kpa to be very rich so that if you overboost it will run safely.
