I really need help with ego/corection issue

Post by supertuner »

Well it's been almost 2 years now ans I still have not got to play with auto tune yet. When I go into megatune I will get a initial afr reading, but it does not change. Doe sthe engine need to be running to get a live afr reading? It dosn't read live running or not. I am using a wb lci and it works wilh all my stand alone gauges but I cannot get mt to show me a live afr. I have been threw all the steps on how to calibrate and so on, but still have no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Could be an issue with the sampling settings. Please post a copy of your MSQ file.

Looks like those settings should work when the engine is running. The sampling is keyed to RPM so that zero RPM = zero sampling. Check the signal coming into the MicroSquirt with a volt meter.

Will ego correction work with a cranking rpm setting of 1800? I might have seen somewhere that it has to be set to 300. Can anybody verify this? Is this maybe why I cannot get any communication with my lc1? And if this the case can the code be adjusted for 1800?

EGO correction will not apply below the cranking RPM.

Will the LC-1 communicate with LogWorks? If it won't, you have an issue with the LC-1, not the MicroSquirt.

Yes I can communicate with logworks and other stand alone gauges. I still have no live updating gauge readings in mt while running my engine, it stays at a constant afr or lamda volt, it will not change. If I leave power hooked up to the lc1 and then shut off ms and turn it back on the gauge will change. So for some reason it won't update while running.
