Help with configuring dual spark settings

Post by bigbrotherjohn »

Hi, I am trying to run a 2001 GSXR600 engine using the Microsquirt controller. The engine has two VR sensors, one on an 8 tooth crank wheel and one on the cam with a single tooth. Both VR signals look good on the oscilloscope and in the trigger analyzer. How should I configure the dual spark settings? I have attached the oscilloscope trace, the trigger analyzer results and the timing diagram for the stock engine. The wiring was done so that spark s1&4 and sparks 2&3 fire together. Also the VR signal is shown as falling on the zero crossing on the stock diagram and is now rising on the zero crossing as shown by the oscilloscope trace. Any help with configuring the ignition settings would be very appreciated, anything that I have tried has not really worked...

thanks very much

When does the single tooth cam sensor single happen in relation to the #1 cylinder's TDC position?
