The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.
Forum for discussing how to install MicroSquirt(TM), choose and troubleshoot sensors, wiring, and communications for MicroSquirt (TM) and MicroSquirt Module(TM).

I am helping a guy with his Microsquirt, and we want to use the spare ADC's (6-7) for a sensor input ,but for some reason it will not read the full scale, ADC7 will read around 15, then when we start the motor it will read 1023 ( the input voltage does not change ) we have measured the input voltage on both sides of the input resistor and all looks fine.
ADC6 stays at 3 and never moves.
Its like the Processor has the two adc ports initialized to low or something.
I use the same setup on the Micro Module with no problems .
We have flashed both standard 2.89, and extra code with no luck, since i dont mess with the Microsquirt that much (I usually use the Module) im not sure if there is something im missing or what .
The first thing to check is that you have a V2.0 board (green). Then you need to check the settings for knock and 2nd ego and baro correction because these are used on ADC6, 7 and if the settings conflict that could cause a problem. If you have and msq that works on the module with 2.89 code, then it should also work on microsquirt - they are electrically identical and the sw is identical.
