Re: ducati 999r
You are losing the spark when you lose wheel sync, and that is done by the ecu to avoid sparking when you don't know where the engine is. You can be losing sync for many reasons. You can sometimes make the sync last longer by adjusting the cranking pulse tolerance. During starting the engine is very erratic and it is often the case that you lose sync, but once you spark the engine should speed up and smooth out. That is not happening, the rpm is staying at about 150 rpm. It is either firing at the wrong time or the spark is too weak or the fuel won't ignite. And there I see some big problems. Your fuel pulsewidths are 32 ms - and that is because the code limits it to 32 ms. I have never seen an engine use a PW of 32 ms, this is unrealistic. Second, the MAP reads 22 kPa, and this is also unrealistic, especially during cranking. The MAP sensor is either not hooked up properly or needs to be calibrated. It should read 100 with the engine not turning. The PW sounds like a data configuration problem, but I can't see anything in the datalog to account for it. I would reduce the ReqFuel and VE to lower the pulsewidth. Also check your cylinders aren't flooded and the spark plugs aren't soaked with fuel. This can ruin them.
