Trigger wizard/dash not matching spark advance table
I recently pulled apart my engine to rebuild everything, along with changing a few items for a more broad powerband. Since I have gotten everything back together, I seem to have an issue with either my tune or configuration but I can't find it. Like normal, I got the engine running and warmed up to use the trigger wizard. When I opened the wizard the value to match was 26.3°. I set my dial back timing light to 26° since I only have a TDC mark on my flywheel and adjusted the trigger offset to make everything line up perfect. I then burned the values and saved the tune as a baseline. When I exited the trigger wizard the dash value stayed at 26.3° when in reality it should be 21°, which is my default 0%tps/2000rpm spark advance value.
I have gone through the tune and tried to verify that there are no corrections being made. I don't know what exactly has changed between then and now, but it has got me boggled. In lieu of trying to figure this out and spending a bunch of time, I set my timing light to 21° and adjusted the trigger offset to match the flywheel at an idle. I really would like to get this sorted that way all my advance figures are true on the dash and in the logs. Thanks, Evan
