ignition setup
last year i turned my bike FZX750 to EFI with MicrosquirtV3 but i went with the optic rpm signal setup which i knew i couldnt control spark advance, but for a beginner like me it was enough.
This summer i ll try to get rpm signal from the 2 VR sensors i have so that i can have control over the spark table.
My ignition system is a wasted spark with TCI box and 2 VR sensors :
1 VR sensor is on the left of the crankcase (for cyl 1-4) and another on the right (for cyl 2-3 ) .
The crankshaft has 1 hole on the left side and another one on the right which is 180 deg apart from the one on the left.(on the picture i dont show the 180 deg difference ,else i wouldnt be able to capture the hole lol).
i just want to make sure its possible before going any further and what setup should i use ? Will i experience bad signal or jitter since there is only a hole for 1 VR and the size of the hole compared to the VR ? Can i use or should use M-N trigger?
Thanks

Re: ignition setup
no the engine has just been rebuild and its now close
i have 2 vr sensor , one on each end of the crank, 180 degree apart from each other....
theres no small hole to create a pattern but just 1 big scallop on each end of the crank.
its actually almost the same as the FZR750/1000 / YZF750/1000 crank but without the 7 small holes but instead of using 1 vr sensor it uses 2 vr sensors....
By the way , what setting should i use in tunerstudio to try it out ?
Can i use microsquirt vr1 and vr2 for the rpm signal or is vr2 just for a cam sensor?
