300 hp on a 5 cyl is 60 hp an injector so that would be heaps for a basic 200 hp 4cyl.
I know that the commercial kits use fuel pressure and fuel temperature adjustments, I have very poor math's skills so I have not evan thought about that yet, I was hoping that with the warm-up heater and very good water flow the converter would regulate pressure very well with map referencing, especially being turbocharged.
I am still trying to get a supplier of parts. one of these days i will be able to try something.
I have just picked up some hall effect sensors that i am going to use on a couple of cars as a crank angle sensor and get megasquirt working for ignition control.
Once that is stable and set up I will put a TPS sensor on my gas carby and try injection with the carby blocked off, so if it doesn't work I can just go cardy again.
I am very eager to help, and get my cars done to.
Cheers
Daniel

Now all i need to do is find a supplier
That is the problem i have
Also a limit of horse power.
How does the effect of fuel temperature effect the fuel requirements?..
Can i possible tune the coolant warm-up to adjust for the cold vaporizer issue? ..
or just tune it when fully warm and have rich on warm-up.?
also if you know of any suppliers that are more than happy to ship to australia let me know .. i need vaporizer, fuel filter and injectors.
Thank you for all your help so far.
It's a long held dream to get a decent lpg system running.
As it's a gas , there's no fuel sticking to the walls of the intake .
So there's hardly need for coldstart enrichement . On the contary .
My car runs very rich when warming up , even with all enrichements
set to zero .
Finding a supplier is a problem . Even round here .
Finding good used injectros and stuff is close to impossible .
Took me over a year to get 4 keihins , and I know the way around .
If you want to buy new equippement , I can order it and ship it to you .
But don't be surprised , a single keihin injector costs close to 200 $
The prins fuel filter with integrated pressure and temp sensor is 165 $ .
AG injectors about 60$ a piece without pigtail .
You get the picture ...

I was looking at keihn injectors because they look to be the best, No chance at all of getting second hand injectors here.
The map referencing would see vacuum, is this converter sensitive enough to have response from vacuum to open throttle quickly?
I have flat spots with carburetor gas in this condition and a one way valve to allow air into the balance line helps a bit, is this condition overcome being injected?
How much are the converters and how many horse power are they rated for?
Thanks for all your help, It's greatly appreciated.
Daniel.

I've been told that standart gas injectors can be modifed for use with LPG. I'm very interested too in LPGi. Next year when my turbo engine start with Megasquirt, big plans are for LPGi, so any info is very apreappreciated.
Also I have an strange unit. It is BRC and is equiped with stepper motor. Used to be an part of "Lambda control system" - "Just Heavy".
More info in italian:
http://www.brc.it/prodotti/sistemi_controllo_it.html

That unit is called STEP HS and can be used for cold start to leaning the mixture. Here LPG conversions are widely used because price of LPG, but 99% of them are old fashion vaporizer setups. widely used are so called Lambda control systems like "Just Heavy" but more simplified - just T piece and stepper motor that regulate LPG flow (I have that kind of unit too and can post pictures).

Just about to get my MSII SVI LPG system up and running on my car
http://zymo.homemail.com.au/bmw2.htm
Had an issue with the MSII card not booting but hoping Al Grippo has another one on the way to me as we speak.
I did run this system with a Nissan computer and MAF sensor, but decided to swap to MSII to use MAP sensing.
Observations - yes it runs pretty rich with the stock fuel mapping on the Nissan ECU. Added to this is that the Prins coverters also seem to run a few psi higher pressure while the converters are cold.
No problems with cold start though. No freezing and no liquid coming into the lines.
Injectors (Keihin) were sourced from AutoGas Propane in Canada for about $500AUD delivered. I used the 'yellow dot' 73cc which are the second largest you can get. The next one up is the 93cc unit at twice the price.
Converters are single stage Prins MAP units rated 135KW each. I am using two.
Injectors are being fired by an AEM peak-hold box.
Cheers
