Horrible idle + video
i have a feeling that this problem does not have to do with megasquirt's settings. when i turn my key i hear the fuel pump hum a little bit. well here is the vid.

First, read the VE table tuning instructions here:
http://www.megasquirt.info/v22manual/mtune.htm#ve
There are a few issues that come up in your datalog:
- You need to tune the VE table when warmed up, but you are only at 63-64° in the datalog. So First you need to work on the warm-up enrichments. Then when you are able to get the engine running well enough to get fully warmed up, adjust the idle VE. Then on the next cold start, fine tune the warm-up enrichments. You have to go back and forth on these (and a lot of other things) to get everything optimized.
- Your TPS never moves from zero - do you have one connected?
- Does opening the throttle make the engine run better, or worse? I think you said it runs worse. So try increasing the cold accel multplier from 100% to 130%, and reduce the cold accel enrichment time to 3.0 ms from 9.0.
- It looks like your engine might be dying when the afterstart enrichment comes off. Try increasing it to 35% and 250 cycles.
- your datalog shows a Gwarm of 145% at 64°, but the settings below show around 123% for that temperature. I assume you changed the settings at some point? around 120 to 130 is a pretty good number for 60°.
The problem is that you need to tune the idle well enough to stay above 300 rpm, otherwise you get the cranking pulse widths, and the engine floods/stalls.
Make these changes and make another datalog of a starting attempt, we can go from there.
Lance.
but i changed the settings as you suggested and now the car will not idle, it just starts and dies.. i have the logs and msq to prove it
i played around with the 60degree and 80degree warmup enrichment setting
but now the car will not idle unless i go back to the old horrible idle values.
here is my new log and msq.
i have faith in megasquirt and all the ms gurus! i will not give up on this car!

i have played with the settings a little more today... the car still acts the same >_< my dad called a mechanic friend and he is going to come over tomorrow morning (i dont know what he will do)
here are some new logs of the car running longer
