well i disabled accel enrichment by setting the delta to 24, the car still acts the same. i have played around with the warm up.. changing te 60degree and 80 degree units to ~135% and it still wont budge.

my parents gave me the ultamatim of, "get the car running by monday night or else put it back to stock".

sooo, i checked my wiring to see if nything was wrong and it seems fine to me. I am using easy plice connections to connect most of my wires, and crimped connections. I dont think that there is a conductivity problem >_>

easy splice connectors ^^^

i dont know what's wrong, i have even based my settings of similar 16valve engines and it still idles horribly. hmmm

all i know is that i will keep trying because i do not want to go back to stock and have wasted all this week

LRoy12,

Looking at your datalog, it seems you are still dropping to 300 rpm or less at times, invoking the cranking pulsewidths.

So the next thing I think I'd do is open the throttle a bit more. There may be a screw stop for the throttle travel on the throttle body - screw that in a 1/2 to 3/4 turn. This will raise the idle, and keep you from going into cranking enrichment.

Once you have it running better (and not going into cranking pulse widths will make it *much* easier to tune the idle), and can tune the idle, you may have to turn the idle back down a bit.

Lance.

actually i have the screw almost all the way turned. i will turn it a wee bit more though, and even try turning it back

any progress ?

are you controling spark ? you might play with spark advance.

if you are letting in too much air then it's running ridicolously lean therefore idling rough.
