MicroSquirt.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I'm running MS-1 v 3.0. 29q is the firmware I'm trying to get on the MS, but it will not allow it. A friend of mine put the first version of firmware in it that I thought was 29q but is not, so I do not know what is in it. The installer you hyperlinked says MS-II.

I was also told that since there is a version of firmware loaded, I do not need to use the jumper for any other uploads, is this false?

Okay okay okay, I figured out how to get the firmware on the MS, but now, my megatune doesn't go up to an 029q, it goes to an 029c, and obviously it isn't jiving.

So, I either need firmware for 029c or a megatune that will be able to use the 029q, preferably the megatune for the 029q.

Little help, I've searched my eyeballs out and can't find this.
