You can tell a processor reset because the time counter resets to 0 seconds.

I would say their processor resets. but changing the trigger did effect the number and effects of them. Ive checked for the cause of them and only found that they only happen while hooked up to the laptop and communicating with megatune (wierd) so I suspected the usb adapter I was using and swapped it out for a belkin and have all but eliminated them ( I still have a few here and there) Im planning on getting some resistor plugs and and audio filter for uS powersupply line to see if this eliminates them heres a datalog of the resets

hi, i am running a sportster fuel only as well i was running the rpm input to optoin+ from a crane hi-4 tach output. on datalogs the rpm would drop out to 0 intermittently making it difficult to tune. i switched the input to my coil negative terminal with worse results after switching back to the tach signal i get no signal at all. i have a post about skewed sensor readings that shows datalogs both ways. i have never had optoin- hooked up i didnt know i needed it . also never had a zener doide or resistor inline should i have is my microsquirt fixable???
