So this probably the explanation for the change in trigger+/- behavior as soon as warmup temperature was reached. Try setting this tolerance the same as the normal running tolerance and then see if you can go past 4000 rpm before warmup.
This did it!!!!!!! :yeah!: :yeah!: :yeah!:

All this time it was a simple matter of changing the run pulse tolerance. I have the after start and run tolerances both set at 40 and the motor now revs to the moon regardless of the coolant temp. Although I'm sure it didn't like going there immediately after I let go of the start button....

Can't thank you guys enough for your product and support!

Wow - it was worth three dancing, happy faces :)

Glad it worked for you, I need to file that one away for future reference.. There is so much in the code its hard to keep up....

Get it tuned up and let us know the results!

It was worth a lot more than three!!!

The dragster has never run right when it came to starting, throttle response and idling but out on the track it was a different story. The intermittent stalling and 4000 rpm ceiling made it tough to be competitive when the car would stall while staging and then not go past 4000 rpm when/if I could get it to restart. With all that behind me now, I'm really looking forward to the '09 drag racing season.

The best pass to date with my turbo-Hayabusa powered dragster is 8.71 @ 147 mph in 1/4 mile with only 15 psi of boost and a very lazy 60' time. My uS is tuned to 32 psi and this is the year we'll find out what it will do at that level and a proper clutch setup. Low 8's at least and maybe into the 7's if conditions are right.

Thanks again for your help. Couldn't have done it without you guys!! Just for fun, here's a pic of the car:
