I took my car out for the first time. I had to play with the idle setting a whole lot and idle control still isn't buttoned down but it works. I got my surging to stop by shutting off EGO correction. Now I'm playing with the VE table and all is good so far. My engine does idle down a bit when my cooling fan kicks on but it is mostly due to engine load. Hitting the break lights doesn't seems to affect the RPMs at all so that is a plus. I extra grounded everything and I think it payed off.

awesome! I blocked off the IAC port, and i'll just use the screw to adjust idle and my foot :) Several people have found that boost pushes open the IAC valve which causes it to idle super high until you restart the car. are you running fuel and spark right now, or just fuel?
I'll start out just running fuel :)
