I did the rest of my testing today, on the stand (no riding). Looks good. Ran about 15 minutes, with no loss of synch - trigger +/- stayed at 0! Cool! With the stock VR circuit I would have been have seen trigger +/- trip at least 25 times in that time.
This synch loss was the last problem I had with the non-tuning side of the FI conversion. Now back to the tuning. Next step will probably be to try MS2Extra.

good luck with the tuning!
bike engines are easier to tune, i find, than car engines. pure alpha-n, lots of cam, and little inertia make for fun 4th gear power slides. oops... that was a customer's bike
