Right, we've got fuel, we've got a spark, however the spark isn't right, can you confirm the base ignition and advanced ignition settings i need to run?
The old issue of WUE and ASE turning off has gone, i fixed that with the upload of new firmware and ini file.

36-1 trigger wheel, 4cyl engine, vr sensor lines up with 9th tooth before the missing one @ TDC, using alpha-n.

I've search online and there seems to be no one using microsquirt on cars! its driving me and my friend insane!!

i have my battery on charge and will datalog tonight and post it up.

Can you make an msq file and post it ? You do this by clicking File menu on the top toolbar, then select Save Tune. That will give me all the parameters.

From what you are saying, you probably need a Delay Tooth of 0 and a trigger offset of -120 deg. This says you will be 120 deg ATDC when you get to tooth 1, = the first tooth after the missing and the first opportunity to get synch. If you are close to this, try changing the trigger offset by 5 or 10 degrees and see if it makes it better or worse. If its backfiring, then disconnect the injectors, set cranking trigger to 'calculated' and put a timing light on it and move the trigger offset til the advance gauge matches the timing light.

Can anyone lead me to the 2.891 code? The newer version has been posted at the link above and I cannot find the 2.891 anywhere. I need it asap for a Formula SAE project. Competition is in 1 week. Our .msq files are saved under the 2.891 signature and all I am finding is the 2.890 and the new 2.905 and neither load the .msq files successfully. Thank you very much.
