Tom757,

You need to go back to the link I posted, and look at all the tips there, and let us know what's happening on each one, not just the ones I used as examples.

You also need to post legibly, I doubt many people are going to try to wade through ALL CAPS embedded in a quote (at least I won't).

If you need to verify that your MegaSquirt works, you can either send it back to whoever built it to do that, or you can purchase a stim.

Lance.

It's not good form to complain about lack of support on a forum staffed by volunteers. I'd suggest you contact your vendor for further support. Who knows, maybe he'll take the unit back for return, repair or replacement.

Roger.

thank you

I am trying to contact that person now. I just got the unit back after he worked on it for four months. I would like someone else to look at it, but if I have to send it back I will.
I really appreciate your input.

Where do you live?

When you say "car " what make and model? there's a lot of "details" you are intentionally? leaving out.

Have you wired up the Megasquirt as per the diagram in the Megamanual? Sometimes it helps of you get a second set of eyes to look over your wiring.

I realise all this sounds familure, but I read this thread from front ot back and I have not once read that you actually read the Manual and wired it up as per the recommended diagram.

The fuel pump relay is there for your safety, just hooking a switch to it is unsafe and can ruin your motor.

I have read the hook up in the mega squirt manual, and have had a mechanic look it over. The engine is a A12 Datsun engine 1970 vintage. It happens to live in a 1975 Triumph Spitfire.
The fuel pump wirring is done this way because the vendor could not fix the mega squirt wiring when I sent it back to them.
I feel that the unit has "gone South" on me.
I can not get the vendor to respond to me and therefore I am asking for assistance from someone who would enjoy this challange for pay. (negotiable)
I am running a Renault Alliance TBI with Rochester injectors with low impedence injector.
The car does want to run with gas, but I can not figure out the issue with this unit, as I have mentioned any and all help is welcomed.
Thank you for your reply.

I might be able to give a tip: I had the same problem, using one injector in a TBI unit, also Rochester injector. It was some time ago, but if I remember well I solved it by using BOTH earth connections (#32 & 33 or / and (34 & 35), not just one... If you use one there is not enough power to open the injector

Hoep it helps :?:

thanks
