Where can I get injectors for propane? Will gasoline port injectors work? What pressure am I looking at if I use canister propane? This is for a flame thrower. (previously posted in The Pits) Just trying to find the best way to accomplish this.

Thanks guys,

Erik

I don't think a gasoline injector would work well for propane... are you injecting it as liquid or gas?

Some forklifts use LPG, and I think they have an electronic injector of some kind...

If it's just for a flamethrower, a simple valve would do it... no need to complicate things. (A nitrous injector might even work)

What would you suggest for an electronicly controled valve? It is dual exhaust, so I will need two. I just figured that injectors would be the best for the price. As far as the liquid vs. gas goes... I don't know. Depends on what the injector/valve will handle. What do you suggest?

Just wondering, why wouldn't a gas injector work?

Thanks again,
Erik

Prins use keihin injectors for vapor injection
http://www.prins-lpg.com/
http://www.keihin-corp.co.jp/products/4 ... _data.html (not english)

There also is a vialle liquid phase system but it's mainly oem
http://www.vialle.nl/

there are a couple of other systems available but the prins keihin injectors are considered the best.
There quite expensive per injector and suppliers that are willing to supply parts are hard to find also.

Hope this helps
