Real time baro correction using the stock Ford BP sensor

Anyone done this yet? Or a better question, is is even possible?

I was going to try and re-use the existing BP sensor already installed.

Found this regarding the output of the sensor:

Apparently it outputs a Hz frequency signal as opposed to voltage. Is there a way to define this in MT or am I better off to look for a GM unit?

herkamer,

No one I am aware of has done this (used the Ford Hz output MAP sensor for baro correction). It may be possible (most thing are!), but it is definitiely more than a simple INI change, and would require significant programming in the embedded code (until the GPIO comes out, at least). So it would be easier to get a GM sensor, or use a MPX4250AP...

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to utilize what was existing to allow for a hopefully never needed swap back to the stock computer. Looks like the MPX4250 is the way to go, since it is proven to work.
