MSII V3.0 running 2.35 code.I have an LC-1 wideband and everything seems to be working well except I am regularly ( at least once a minute) getting a rich reading for no apparent reason as demonstrated in this segment of my log.This happens at cruise,coast-down,or WOT.Any ideas.My grounds are excellent voltage is stable 13.0V and the WB is properly set up.

It is very hard to tell anything from a screen shot of a datalog. Post the actual datalog instead.

For example, most commonly, the 'rich periods' you mention are caused by TPS accel enrichment, and these in turn are caused by a TPSdot theshold that is too low. We could tell this from a datalog, but not from your screen shot.

I think something may be wrong with your sensor/controller.

The reason I say this is that the value in the 'rich' areas are unnaturally stable, but never quite the same. As well, the MAP doesn't change, which you would expect it to if the actual AFR was changing (in fact, if you tuned according to the manual and got the the engine to idle at the lowest MAP, then a richer mixture should increase the MAP - and if the throttle is constant the rpm should drop - neither of these happen).

The sensor may be losing it's ground, or there may be problems with the signal - it's hard to say. But the sensor wiring is what I would check first.

Ok thanks Lance I'll go through that circuit and see what I can find.

What does the the LED for the LC1 show during these rich moments? The reason I ask is because when the heater circuit cuts in for my LC1, it sends a rich signal to megasquirt until it's back up to temp. You'll see it because the LED will be flashing instead of steady-on

BottleFed70 a detail which I completely forgot to mention.Yes when my AFR goes rich the led flashes a couple of times and then returns to steady on.What did you find was causing the heater circuit to activate ?
