lambda and EGO LEDS display opposite values

I have the MS I v3.0 using the 2.25 software release. The system was originally installed using a NB O2 sensor, but I have recently switched over to the LC-1. I believe that I have completed the free air calibration correctly and made all the other switches in the software.
Here is the problem, the Megatune gauge indicates a Lambda value of .68 however the EGO LED display indicates full deflection of the green. The car is running very rich so I believe that the LEDS are ground truth. Any ideas on where I have made the error?
Also, if the car runs consistently too rich, can this damage the LC-1 sensor?
