i have what i am 99% sure is the injectors for cyl 1 and 2 off the first injector circut and cyl 3 and 4 on the second injector circut. (4 cyl engine).

i have read the manual on this but maybe i am missing something. is there a certain way i have to place the injectors to get proper timing? does the first injector circut need to run any specific injectors?

just looking for some clarification, thanks.

Adam,

With MegaSquirt, the injections are not timed to the crankshaft or intake valve events. See this: http://www.megasquirt.info/MS%20FAQ.htm#sequential

I was reading a discussion on another board yesterday talking about this. Interestingly, having sequential injection can actually be a bad thing. If the squirt is aimed right into the valve opening and is timed for when the valve is open, you can get raw fuel landing on the cylinder wall and washing away the oil, leading to increased cylinder wear in that area.

So sequential injection is not necessarily a good thing. It's a good thing it's not necessary. :P
