Cold acceleration enrichment / warmup MS2

Hi!

When does Cold accel enrichment and multiplier activate and de-activate?
Seems like they are still active when warmup enrichment goes down to 100%.

I have set warmup led condition as true when warmup enrich is > 100. It doesn't work as expected. Led lights still when warmup enrich decreases to 100, why?

There is also a bug. When I try to light warmup led with condition warmup = 1, megatune changes warmup to crank. So I can't set such condition.

Is it so that when coolant temp rises higher than highest bin in warmup acceleration table, warmup will be switched off?

Please note in your post if you are using MS-II/MS-I/MSnS-E, the code version, MegaTune version, as well as V1.01, V2.2 or V3 main board, etc.

Teg,

In general, the cold accel compensations (multiplier and enrichment) are linearly interpolated between the entered value at -40°F and zero at the highest temprature bin (usally 160°F).

When does Cold accel enrichment go to zero?

ps. using MS2

When does Cold accel enrichment go to zero?

Teg,

When the coolant temperature reaches it's highest value (normally 160F). (It doesn't depend on the warm-up entry values being =100%)

For the warm up enrich LED, I find if I set:

- PM5 warmup LED enabled
- warmup enrich = 1 (0)
- no second condition
- power-on value = o
- trigger value = 1

It works as expected (and does depend on the warm-up being > 100%, btw). Is this what you are doing? Does the LED work normally for warm-up when not using the spare port settings?

Ok. Then THIS is one of my problems :). My engine is really small and takes years to reach over highest temperature value and sometimes - in winter specially - it doesn't even reach to it. And it is way too much for warm engine.

Maybe in future it will changed so that those cold accel enrichments will be switched off when all warmup enrichments are off?

When I try to do this (in MS-II v2.3) and burn it to ecu, 'warmup' will change to 'crank' when reading it from ecu. And it seems to be also working as a craking indicator.

Teg,

Yes, I agree the cold accel ennrich should stop when wanr-up enrich reaches 100%, so that's something to add to the list!

For the spare port setting issue, try hitting 'Alt' after changing the field to warmup enrich. Let us know if that helps.

No it didn't help...

Maybe try TAB instead.
