Flex Fuel require WBO2?

First off, DANG!
I've put my EFI project off for a year, and look at all the SWEET add-ons!
I was going to mod a 7477 cause I wanted timming control, but it looks like the MSII might be the way to go!

Quickie question,
Does using the flex fuel sensor require the use of a WBO2?

FWIW here is what I'm working on:
'68 jeepster w/a '67 Buick 340, I've gathered '87 cheby TBI stuff and the faqs have provided proof of the older 7 pin HEI control module is usable.

Thanks
Thom

Nevermind, I found it

I guess it doens't really require a wideband any more than gas, but it is definately useful to have one. On mine, my first guess on the modifications to the gas tune were pretty good. We will see how starting is 6 months from now when it is cold outside, but so far the only difference I can tell in driving is my clutch does not like the newfound power (turbo car, it is now an alchoholic :D ).

Hi there

I ran a MB 300 E on E85 for about a thousand miles . ( straight six, 3 litres , automatic)
After upping required fuel some 37% the car run great and was performing better than on normal 95 octane , as expected .

Three issues made me close it outand go back to gas .
1 Fuel consumption increased and with the prices here in Sweden it was not economical.
2 Cold starting ( below some 5 centigrade ) was DIFFICULT
3 Reading up on the subject I found out that a cold engine on E85 exhausts very significant amounts of formaldehyde , up until engine is about 45 C .

Car run real sweet and the exhaust emissions once warm were perfect , run closed loop lambda at all speeds .

I read about this somewhere saying that you will need a manifold heater because the ethanol does not evaporate at those lower temperatures.
