What could cause my MS to drop out of "Run" mode?

For discussing MicroSquirt (TM) configuration and tuning of fuel parameters (including idle valves, etc.).

What could cause my MS to drop out of "Run" mode?

Post by psinnis »

During hard surging, I made a log file, and when reviewing the log file I notice the "Run:Y" indicator is turning to "Run:N" at each surge. Is this normal? it drops out at the same time as the RPM's drop off to 0, the comes back on whe RPM's come back up. Does the MS drop out of Run when the RPM's drop way down?
Thanks, Paul

Are the rpm's actually going down to <100 (or whatever your cranking rpm is set to)? If not, and it's just your datalog that drops to 0 and RUN=N, then I'd say it's a reset.
