As the header suggests does anybody know of a proven alternate that uses a standard type of plug connector at the coil instead of the specific ford one as they are impossible to get here and i need to reconfig my ign leads
TIA

Most waste-spark coils will work. I know Chrysler family coils do.

Will the standard two-post GM ones work? Is there any documentation on how to do it you can point me to?

Just solder the wires to the coil pack and then put a few thick coats of electrical "tape" paint on it.

In this case he is firing the coils with VB921's instead of EDIS, but removing the GM guts would be similar.
