Megatune runs "slow" when not connected

Megatune seems to run sluggish when not connected to my MS unit. I can't move through the windows or open tabs as quickly as I do when connected to MS (and when it's powered). Is this normal? Thanks.

Yes, that is normal. MegaTune expects to be connected to a MegaSquirt, so it keeps trying to connect, which slows it down.

If you click on the menu item 'File/Offline' it should speed up (this tells MegaTune not to try to connect).
