i was considering pulling a throttle body from an 85-87 ford 3.8L V6 and installing it on my 86 mazd b2000. reason being is that there are moderately affordable adaptor plates available (originally for the weber carb, also fits holley 5200, 5210, 5220, and 85-87 ford throttle bodies.) my truck has the coolant temp sensor and 02 sensor. the ford TBI unit has a TPS. i know i will need to get an IAT.
i am familiar with working on vehicles, i pull transmisisons on a daily basis. i have never worked with PCB however, nor have i ever done a TBI conversion. what is recomended? has similar project been done before?
