For discussing MicroSquirt (TM) configuration and tuning of fuel parameters (including idle valves, etc.).

How stable should AFR/Lambda be at idle?

Post by hobieboy »

As the title said... in my case, my AFR oscillates between 13.5 and 12.8 (yes - I want to start with running way rich as I need the engine to be around 11.9 at full boost).

Is that too much variance? What typically will make it more stable - timing/fuel/...?

thanks.

Is map or rpm changing so that the VE is changing?

Actually, nothing seems to be changing. MAP is very stable. The VE is changing maybe by 1%; probably due to RPM changes.
