i want to share the same sensor with the stock ecu and megasquirt

Hi spyro -

Generally, yes. AAMOF, all the sensors can usually be shared if they don't have some weird controls applied from the OEM ECU or low resistance inputs. A shared install that's in-progress here includes a GM ECM that is retained for electronic transmission control. I would have shared all the sensors, but the CLT sensor gets a bias resistor switch at 120°F that made sharing a pain. Just added a second sensor for MS and no problems. Image

A lot of toyota sensors can share signals and never have a problem, almost any resistive sensor will be fine from my hands on experience. I have heared of some users not having a good experience with shared sensors but that may be on a case by case scenario. I would say try it out and if it does not work out then you know what to do.
