IAC control

Post by Scott Bruce »

Hi In running MSII witha ver 3.0 board I think ( the unit was purchased assembled) and using 2.25+ megatune
Has any one come up with a fix for the engine not coming off high idle after warm up? after warm up, I have to restart the engine and some times that even won't make it idle down. I asked this question about 2-3 months ago and told there was a glitch. Other than that, were almost ready to be in the "success" stories! Please advise.

Scott,

Have you added the jumpers to the resistors on the bottom of MS-II? (http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/IAC.htm)This solves the issue for most people. Are you using 2.36 or higher code? Are you using the 15-minute IAC setting? These are definitiely thing you should try.

Lance.

Hi Lance
You were a great help! I thought that I had the latest version of embeded code. I was wrong. I had 2.3 I does idle down now. We are making headway! Thank you again.
P.S. We just bought a wide band sensor and accesories. That should put the iceing on the cake!
