Ignition trigger setup on 08 Kawasaki Ninja 250?

Hello,
I am the owner of a performance shop that specializes in turbocharged BMW's. I am just about finished with the hardware on my turbocharged Ninja 250. I ditched the carbs and made a custom intake with a single TB and 2 injectors with a common plenum. I intend to run the bike on microsquirt with fuel and spark control but I have yet to wire it up. I have all the necessary sensors but the ignition pickup is going to be the only thing I could use some help with.

I finally pulled the cover off the engine to look at the oem pickup(s) and trigger wheel. The bike has 2 coils and an ignition module. Once I pulled the cover I saw that the main pickup looks like a vr sensor since there are 2 wires going to it. The flywheel has 4 teeth total. Three are small and one of them is long. Will the MS be able to use this trigger input pattern? If not does anyone have any suggestions? Here are some pics showing everything:

After reading several posts including this one: http://www.microsquirt.com/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=22861, I think I might try grinding off the one large tooth. This would make it a 4-1 pattern. Any comments?

there are quite a few bikes with that trigger wheel pattern. it would be nice if it were supported natively.

with regards to grinding the large tooth off, make sure its not one of the teeth you need to use as a tach tooth. because, you could always grind it down to the size of the smaller teeth, and remove another one of the smaller teeth
