I have a toyota 4age with ITBs running microsquirt with almost no problems for about a year now. The car is set up to use MAP as the main load input, but as the car has ITB, I have problems setting up load transitions. If I set it up for WOT, when cruising the car runs rich, and if I set it up for cruise, it runs lean on WOT.

Now to the problem; some time ago I tried to set it up using TPS as the main engine load input, but when loading a new setup, Megatune would throw an error when loading the calibration, something like "voltage too low..." (it's been a while, and I don't remember the whole message). As the car was used mainly on the circuit, keeping MAP as load input was not too bad, but now the car is going to be used on the street, so I need to set up TPS for load sensing.

Why can this happen? BTW I had loaded other calibrations, with MAP as load input with no problem. I even updated the firmware with no voltage problem, or any other error.

I have never heard of this problem. It makes no sense that you would get a low voltage message when loading one table and not another. Plus I'm not sure I know what you mean by loading a calibration table. Neither map nor tps require a table, just a couple of data points, no different than changing any other variable. And if you mean you loaded different msqs, I can't see how that can cause a low voltage error because of what is in the msq. To go further you need to repeat what you did and tell us step by step, including what MT menus and ECU code version you are using and the messages you get.

I know, it doesn't make sense to me either. I'll get back to you, mid next week with more details. By calibration I meant msqs.

You will sometimes get a "Battery LOW" voltage indicator (the bottom of MT) when MT is busy - if that's what you are seeing, it can be ignored as long as it goes away when you cycle the power (or likely sooner). I have seen that indicator occasionally - it is a calculated value, and likely doesn't get updated during a burn.

However, if you are getting a pop-up dialog saying the battery voltage is low, that's more serious and needs looking into.
