quick update..

Post by ca434sbc4 »

Basically the truck is idling well with spark and fuel from the sequencer. I need to get the new engine installed to generate a compatible cam sync pulse so after next weekend this will be my focus to get the new engine running then installed in the truck. Next weekend I want to test the latest GPIO trans code before disabling the truck for the engine swap. Once the engine swap is done I'll get the wiring harness permanently installed.
The hard starting issue was solved by adding a 120uF 50V (100v would be better) electrolytic cap across C60. Had some dropped sync pulses that cleared with better grounding.

Hey Marc, would you be able to post up your MSQ so I can take a look just so I can try compare mine to it. Are you using an optical trigger or magnetic?
