I've searched, but have been unable to locate some schematics for the newer v2 microsquirt. anyone know where they are or if they are available?

thanks

I've been looking also, and haven't been able to find them either.

can anyone tell me if any of the VR circuit components have changed value/location from the V1 microsquirt?

I remember reading that v2 increased the inline resistor for the VR1 input. This was a while ago and they did not mention what the change was exactly. (this change is not mentioned in the Microsquirt Board Revision- Sept 2008 post) v1.0 had a 10k resistor.

That's the only change I've heard of for the VR circuit but I am pretty new to all this so I'm sure there are others out there that know more about it.

Shematics for V2 of microsquirt are posted. And, the only change in the VR circuit was to use another type of diode for the transistor base-emitter - I talked about this mod in the sticky on the VR circuit...

Thank you for the update.

I am trying to diagnose a no communication problem with my Microsquirt. I have a MS2 that works just fine, but no joy on the uS. I can't seem to find the schematics to do some checking. Can someone please post a link?

I have good comm pulses coming into the uS, as measured on a scope, but nothing comes out. The clock is running on the uS, but it acts like the lights are on, but nobody's home.

OK, I found the schematics. I can see the pulses going into the uS board, and through the MAX3221 converter chip. I can also see that uS is trying to answer, but it does not make it through the MAX3221, so I am assuming that I have a bad MAX3221.
