Hi forum
I am converting a 650cc twin 4 stroke and got my hands on a trottle house from a BMW K1100. I will use only two of the body's of course. Now im stuck regarding the idle motor. It's a Bosch with part no 0 132 008 600.
Done a lot of search on google and such, but cant find any schematic or anything else to suggest what kind of motor this is.

Do anyone know if this is a stepper type or if i'ts controllable trough MicroSquirt.

regards

Ok, did this the hard way and opened it up.
It's a DC motor using only two pins. No feedback or anything. When i apply voltage to 2 of the pins the actuator raises and open the throttle a bit, when i reverse polarity the motor goes back to home position and close the throttle again.
If i leave voltage on, the motor hits the end position and it draws a lot of current. Ideally the motor would like +12 applied for about 1 sec to activate the raised idle, then reverse polarity for another sec to return to home position.

Could this type of idle controll work with MicroSquirt?

The current firmware does not support this sort of IAC valve. You could conceivably get it working using an analog input for IAC position and some changes to the code.
