alfa-n tunning?

Post by supertuner »

I am having trouble tunning with alfa-n. I have my ve tps% bins setup like this, 0 20 40 60 80 100. The part I do not understand is this. When I change my ve values on a throttle position, let's say at 40%, this changes my ms At 20% throttle position. The numbers don't change in my bins, but the actual ms gets higher at lower throttle positions when I increase the bins above it at a higher throttle position. Could somebody help me understand this?

Not sure about your problem, but as soon as you leave the 20 % bin it start to blend up to the next bin.
I have found out that on the datalog, the MAP shows the real MAP snesor value, but if you check the VE line you can see the forced VE valut by the Alpha-N table.

It would help a whole lot to set your throttle % in a logarithmic fashion, there is very little difference between 80 and 100 % and a whole world between 0 and 20 %, more like 0, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, this will helps driveability a whole lot since it's under 20 % most of time.
