How is an injector rating determined?

Hello,

I am measuring the flow rate of a yamaha scooter injector, since I can't find any specs. Today, I wired up a driver circuit an a basic stamp to run the injector at 100% for 10 seconds, and measure the captured fuel in a graduated cylinder. Then I started wondering if injector specs are given at 100% duty cycle, or say, 80% for example. Does anyone know? FYI, at 100% duty cycle, I got 48 cc/min, or 4.69 lb/hr.

If memeory serves, they are rated at 100%dc. for operation, they should not be used at more than 85%dc.

So in Microsquirt where it calculates required fuel, I should put the flow rating at 100%? There is a sticky at the begninning of this section that makes me think it should be 80-85%. The basic stamp is certianly capable of doing it either way, but I think a 100% duty cycle flow rate would be easier for most people to determine empirically that do not have access to any microcontroller, other than just taking the 100% duty cycle flow rate times .8
