MicroSquirt.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I would like to run a micro squirt on my 78 KZ1000, have parts lined up for fuel side, I belive I can use an aftermarket crank trigger or can make a crank trigger, not sure best approch for ignition, do I need cam signal or would EDIS be an easyer solution.
Any opinons welcome.
