MicroSquirt.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

Hi all

I'm having a bit of a problem with my car the engine is a crossflow that has been converted to efi with microsquirt and edis 4. It is running absolutely fine up to 3500 rpm and struggles to run till it gets to 4000 then it's fine again, this is almost like a rev limit is there but it isn't have checked that, also when it does it my rpm gauge stutters and goes to zero till it's clear,

Can anyone help with what this may be, could it just be that the coil or the edis is breaking down ? My ignition map is fine and was the same before I swapped the megajolt to microsquirt so I'm sure the map is ok, it didn't do it before the efi conversion.

Have you tried capturing a datalog, as it goes through this barrier? It sounds like you have a noise problem, that might be causing a reset, but a log would give us all some more info.

good idea i should have one somewhere usually log most runs at the moment will upload one tonight hope to get it sorted
