1977 goldwing possible conversion
1) for the ignition can I just leave the factory ignition for now and pickup the signal from one of the negatives on the coils (2 coils on this bike)?
2) I can use tps sensor from Suzuki right? I don't have to fuss with trying to adapt a gm tps I hope?
3) what is the electrical draw with microsquirt. the early goldwings were not known for having a particularly strong electrical system.
thanks,
Steve

Pretty much any potentiometer type TPS will work.2) I can use tps sensor from Suzuki right? I don't have to fuss with trying to adapt a gm tps I hope?
The MicroSquirt itself can run on less than 1/2 amp. Figure 1 amp per injector for high impedance injectors. It's the fuel pump that is the main current draw.3) what is the electrical draw with microsquirt. the early goldwings were not known for having a particularly strong electrical system.
