The project is a artic cat z1 1100 turbo. We use a microsquirt v3. We use the stock vr signal. When i start the engine, it got a good idle and run good until i reach approx 2800rpm. At this rpm, not-synced blink on tuner studio. I think the microsquirt see a false tooth. When i put a scope on vr1, i see a hook on raising edge. My input capture is on falling edge. Can i make something to remove this hook. :RTFM:

Try a 10K resistor across the VR sensor and see if that makes a difference.

First, i put 12k ohms resistor on my vr1 wires. Yes, i can pass 2800 rpm without problem but when i reach 5500rpm, no-syncro blink a little bit. Next, I try to load my vr signal with a 8.2k ohms. Perfect, i can reach 8500 rpm without problem. :yeah!: Thank you Matt, i appreciate .

You're welcome. Glad to hear it's resolved.

So do you actually bridge the + to - wires with the resistor or do you just cut one wire and insert it inline? And does it matter what wattage it is?
Cheers

I bridge the vr1+ and vr1- with a 8.2 k.
