To many sparks

Hello, first time poster:
I'm working on a Suzuki GSXR600 2003 4cyl. motor for a Bonneville car streamliner project. I've fitted a Microsquirt 3.77 with a Quadspark to drive the ignition in wasted spark. I'm using the Suzuki COPs and the stock 8 tooth trigger wheel with one tooth ground off and the stock VR sensor. No cam sensor to make it simple. My problem is I'm getting to many tach signals some how. With a timing light on # 1 CYL. I can see two timing marks 180 deg. apart at cranking speed. When looking at the plugs sitting on top of the motor, grounded and firing, they all look like they are firing every 180 deg.
My settings are:
8-1 wheel, skip pulses 4
Dual/ multispark ign. options: I've tried , single crank wheel, and no dual multispark settings.
I've tried enable and disable auto trigger.
Some tries result in no spark at all and other combinations that work have to many sparks-tach signals.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, John

With a missing-tooth wheel and no cam on an inline 4, you SHOULD be getting wasted spark every 180 degrees. How do you have the QuadSpark wired?

Please post a .msq tune file.

The miss wiring of the Quad spark was one of my first thoughts for my problem. I have it wired as per the instructions on the DIY tune website. I have checked the wiring many times. I think that if it was wired wrong it could fire the wrong cylinder but couldn't make it fire one plug two times per revolution.
I'll see if I can figure out how to post my MSQ tune file tonite.
Thanks for your responce , John

dontz125 ,
I think you might be right, I'm hoping I have the Quadspark ignition input wires hooked up wrong. The ignition output wires from the Microsquirt are 1 and 2. The input signals for 4cyl wasted spark into the quadspark are A and B. I connected ign1 , both wires, to A and ign2, two wires, to B. I think ign. 1 and 2 have an A and B wire in them. I'm going to the shop now to try to sort this out. I'll post a result.
Thanks John

I found my problem. My system was set for default 8 cly. The setting is is the fuel setup, I was trying to get the ignition setup first.
