Has anyone used any digital dash systems like the aim mxl or any of the racepak dashes? How are they wired up?

AIM can wire to the CAN bus.

Racepak is having trouble with the latest serial protocol. They are working on an MS2/Extra version to support a just-released Racepak CAN module. I'm not sure if this will appear in B&G code or not.

I'm new to all of this. What is a can bus? And what does it look like

That would be the wires on pins 2 and 3.

Does anyone have a writeup on this? How is mph calculated? And fuel quantity?

Is their a specific model that works with the MS? Or are they all the same.

For the AIM, use their documentation.

Racepak's V-net modules have just hit the market.

The MicroSquirt does not measure vehicle speed. You'd need an additional sensor wired to the dash for that.

I know the MS does not read vehicle speed. But you did answer my question. Thanks for your help.
