Phil,

The pics didn't come through, you will need to either post off line links or use the attachment feature of the forum.

Cheers!

Scott

Hi Scott

The pics were there when I posted. I think the thread has been moved but the pics got lost. I don't understand why its been moved to the ...

Is this what good LoZ injector PWM should look like?

I implemented PWM with my low impedance injectors after Turbo4V found a solution to the PWM issues. Attached (not so good) pics of the injector pulses. The first pic is of the entire pulse which shows the initial permanent on and then, where the "double lines start, the PWM area followed by the ...

No resistor with LoZ/PWM?

I would just like to confirm:

When using PWM to drive LoZ injectors , it is NOT necessesary to have ANY ballast resistors?

Currently, I am using ballast resistors and MS-2 in HiZ mode to drive the LoZ (2.5Ohm) injectors but I really would like to drive them using PWM.

I have modified my MS-2 as ...

I will provide a solution in the next software release along the lines you want. Right now the code automatically squirts both banks at every tach pulse. I will mod this to only do it if no_cylinders <= 8, since I can't imagine anyone wanting to squirt both banks.

Thanks Mr Grippo!
It seems no ...

Thanks for the prompt reply!

If this is port injection, then the number of cylinders should have nothing to do with it.

It is port injection but it was James that told me (http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=20635&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=start) that MS-2 squirts with every ...

Best is to stick to 2squirts / alternating. Don't stare yourself blind with Required fuel. The manual is a guideline - not a law - but it is a GOOD manual.

Get the engine started, and tune the VE table roughly. If its very "flat" (ie little difference between low kpa bins and high kpa bins for the ...

V12: too many cranking injector pulses

Hi chaps

I'm finding it very difficult to get my V12 to start when hot as well as it does when cold. I have found the following.

My injector opening time is about 1.4ms.
When hot, it requires about 1.5ms during cranking to start fairly OK. When cranking pulses get to 1.6ms, it effectively floods ...

Re: Measuring dwell / charge current

The megamanual suggests to place a 0.1ohm between the emitter & ground of the VB921 to measure the current ramp. In my case, it would be MUCH easier if I can put that resister between MS output and collector of the VB921.

I don't think it will work but can anyone confirm please?

thanks.

Did not know this, thanks, and it helps but I still would like to know what each of the parameters do.
