Is this what good LoZ injector PWM should look like?

For discussing injector selection, manifold modifications, throttle bodies, fuel supply system design and construction, and FIdle valves and IACs.

Is this what good LoZ injector PWM should look like?

Post by Philip Lochner »

I implemented PWM with my low impedance injectors after Turbo4V found a solution to the PWM issues.

Attached (not so good) pics of the injector pulses.

The first pic is of the entire pulse which shows the initial permanent on and then, where the "double lines start, the PWM area followed by the final switch off.

The flyback spikes during PWM are not visible on this pic, so I took another pic after having "zoomed in" on the PWM area only.

So far, I'm not having any issues, just would like to know if this appears normal?
Kind regards
Philip

Phil,

The pics didn't come through, you will need to either post off line links or use the attachment feature of the forum.

Cheers!

Hi Scott

The pics were there when I posted. I think the thread has been moved but the pics got lost. I don't understand why its been moved to the MICROSquirt site as it belongs under MS-2 general IMHO. Will have to go look for the pics on my home PC.
Kind regards
Philip
